How to change your password or email address
Your account settings are managed from the Settings page in the sidebar.
Changing your password
- Go to Settings
- In the Password section, enter your current password
- Enter your new password (minimum 8 characters)
- Click Save changes
If you have two-factor authentication enabled, you will not be logged out — your session continues normally.
Updating your profile
You can change your first name, last name, and email address in the Profile section of Settings. After changing your email address, you may need to verify the new address.
Setting your timezone
Your timezone affects:
- Shield delivery windows — The snoozer uses your timezone to determine when to deliver email
- Message timestamps — Times shown in the dashboard and message log
- Dashboard greeting — "Good morning/afternoon/evening"
To set your timezone:
- Go to Settings
- Find the Timezone dropdown
- Each option shows the current time in that zone to help you verify
- Select your timezone and click Save changes
If you do not set a timezone, Cleanbox defaults to UTC.
