Your profile settings: name, email, timezone, and language
Your profile settings let you control how Cleanbox identifies you, when things happen, and what language you see. Here’s a walkthrough of everything on the Settings page.
Accessing your settings
Click Settings (the gear icon) at the bottom of the sidebar. This opens your personal settings page.
Profile
The profile section contains your basic account information.
First name and last name
Update your display name here. This is the name shown in your team member list and used for notifications.
Email address
You can change the email address associated with your account. After changing it, you’ll need to verify the new address before it takes effect.
Click Save to apply your profile changes.
Timezone
Select your timezone from the dropdown. Your timezone affects how times are displayed throughout the dashboard:
- Message timestamps
- Charts and statistics
- Activity logs
It also affects Shield delivery windows (Snoozer) — quiet hours are based on your timezone setting. If your timezone is wrong, messages may be delivered at unexpected times.
A preview shows the current time in the selected timezone so you can verify it’s correct before saving.
Password
To change your password:
- Enter your current password
- Enter your new password twice to confirm
- Your new password must be at least 8 characters
Click Update to save your new password.
Two-factor authentication
If two-factor authentication is available for your account, you can enable it for extra security.
- 2FA uses an authenticator app (TOTP) such as Google Authenticator or Authy
- After enabling, you’ll be asked for a code from your authenticator app each time you log in
- Recovery codes are provided during setup — store these somewhere safe in case you lose access to your authenticator

Language
The interface language can be changed from the top bar. Click the language selector and choose your preferred language. Available languages depend on current translations.
Your language preference is saved to your account, so it follows you across devices.
